Privacy policy video surveillance

For the purpose of making our data processing measures comprehensible and transparent in connection with video surveillance by PlusServer GmbH, we are providing the following information pursuant to Article 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

Purpose and legal basis of the data processing: The data processing shall be effected to protect our own property and the property of others, and to safeguard our right to control access to the premises. The legal basis for the data collection is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Recipient of personal data collected: No transfer to third parties of the data collected shall take place.

Duration of data storage:
The recordings shall be erased after five 72  hours, insofar as they are not necessary for criminal prosecution or for securing evidence. Otherwise, they shall be erased as soon as they are no longer necessary for the purposes pursued.

Rights of the data subjects and right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority:

If the respective legal prerequisites are met, then under the GDPR you are entitled to the following rights:

Right of access (Article 15 GDPR), right to rectification (Article 16 GDPR), right to erasure (Article 17 GDPR), right to restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR), and the right to data portability (Article 20 GDPR).

In addition, under Article 13(2)(b) GDPR in conjunction with Article 21 GDPR, you are entitled to a right to object to such processing, which processing is based upon Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

In accordance with Article 77 GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority if you are of the view that your personal data are not being processed lawfully. The address of the supervisory authority responsible for our company is:
